Process Performance Qualification (PPQ) is a critical step in Process Validation, specifically in the second phase known as Process Qualification. It extends beyond Performance Qualification by assessing the long-term performance and robustness of the manufacturing process. According to GAMP® 5, PPQ expands the qualification of a facility for producing medical and pharmaceutical products after the completion of Performance Qualification.
