Kaye Validator® E-Training

We are pleased to announce the release of online operator training for the Kaye Validator. The e-learning program is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the capabilities and operational procedures of the Kaye Validator system. It is broken down into a series of nine modules simulating the Kaye Validator software step by step. Subject matter is presented using detailed audio and product simulations and hands-on-exercises reinforce key elements. The program can be accessed from any PC with a broadband internet connection, Win NT/Windows 2000 and Internet Explorer 5.5 or above.

Thermal Validation System Training - Billerica, MA

Thermal Validation Training can help prepare you for the growing demand in validation testing. These comprehensive classes are held at our training center in North Billerica, MA. If you're using Kaye equipment or plan to use our Validation Systems, these programs will show you how to:

  • Create a validation study using the Validator software
  • Protect thermocouple wire to extend its useful life
  • Reduce sensor rejection rate with higher accuracy calibrations
  • Decrease the amount of time you need to spend supervising tests
  • Uncover common sources of temperature measurement error
  • Run a 2-point sensor calibration, completely unattended
  • Collect and back-up validation data automatically
  • Generate the reports you need to satisfy regulatory guidelines
  • Learn about humidity and pressure sensors for validation

Course VMI-1 Validation and Measurement Issues

This one-day course provides participants with the basics of Validation. Distribution and Penetration Qualification studies are defined and discussed. Equipment and sensor methodologies and sources of error are covered along with proper thermocouple calibration techniques and many other basic topics. These include an introduction to lethality calculations and microbiological challenge studies.

Who should attend 1 day of training in Validation Issues?

  • Individuals with little or no knowledge in the field of Validation or those needing a refresher in this area.
  • Assumes none or limited background in validation and measurement.
  • Includes certificate for Validation and Measurement Issues.

Course V2K-2 Validator 2000 Training

This 2-day course is highly recommended for anyone using the Validator 2000 whether for sensor calibration or qualification studies. No prior knowledge of Kaye equipment is assumed and time is given for the trainee to fully understand how the instrument operates. All aspects of the Validator 2000 are covered in detail.

Who should attend 2 days of training on the Validator 2000?

  • Anyone requiring a thorough understanding of the Validator 2000 to function at their job who has little or no time to learn on their own.
  • Individuals who are new to the concepts of running validation studies with Kaye instrumentation.
  • Assumes an understanding of validation and measurement issues and computer literacy.
  • Includes Certificate for Validator 2000 Training.

Course V2K-3 Validator 2000 Training

  • Our most popular and comprehensive Validator 2000 training package which includes (VMI-1) and (V2K-2).
  • This 3-day session provided groundwork in the fundamentals of validation, and instrument and sensor use. The course continues with comprehensive, hands-on instruction in the operation of the Validator 2000. Assumes computer literacy. (See V2K-2.)
  • Includes two Certificates: Validation and Measurement Issues, and Validator 2000 Training.

Course V2K-1 Accelerated Validator 2000 Training

This 1-day course is a fast-paced overview with real applications and training in how to use the Validator 2000. All Validator 2000 concepts will be covered in a condensed format, relying on the trainees' past experiences in validation and use of Kaye instrumentation.

Who should attend 1 day of training on the Validator 2000?

  • Validation personnel requiring a jump-start on the use of the Validator 2000 instrument who have a background in validation and the use of Kaye instrumentation.
  • Validation managers and individuals who will oversee or relate to the process.
  • Individuals who cannot attend the recommended full 2-day or 3-day course due to time or budgetary constraints.

Assumes computer literacy, an understanding of validation and measurement issues, and an understanding of Kaye calibration equipment and Digi family products. Because of its faster pace, this class assumes a trainee's ability to learn quickly.

Includes certificate for Validator 2000 Training.

V2K-1 Course Schedule

Course V2K-1 is conducted on the final day of Course V2K-2 (see schedule above).

Course WV-1 Windows Validator Training for Digi Validator and Validator KL Systems

This 1-day course provides comprehensive coverage of the Windows Validator programming environment. Complete sensor calibrations and simulated validation studies are conducted during class, providing the student with all necessary knowledge to perform validation studies with Kaye instrumentation.

Assumes an understanding of validation and measurement issues and computer literacy. Includes certificate for Windows Validator Training.

Course WV-2 Windows Validator Training for Digi Validator and Validator KL Systems

This 2-day session is our most popular Windows Validator training package which includes (VMI-1) and (WV-1).
It provides groundwork on the fundamentals of validation instrumentation and sensor use before presenting (WV-1) which is a comprehensive, hands on instruction in the Windows Validator programming environment for the Digi 4Plus series of instruments.
It is designed for individuals having limited background in validation or those who require formal training to fulfill company requirements.

Assumes computer literacy.

Includes two certificates: Validation and Measurement Issues, and Windows Validator Training.
